## How do you become a CEO? 

Every ambitious recruiter asks this at some point: how do you become a CEO?

We asked someone who’s climbed every rung at the same company, Sasza Bandiera, CEO at Oyster.

*“Those first years were about being a good recruiter. Do the job well, do what’s asked, and move to the next stage.”*

From there, progression came through taking responsibility, learning each layer properly, and staying open to feedback. And when the business grew, he grew with it, taking on operations, finance, L&D, marketing, and eventually the whole company.
